What is Time Management?

It is the ability to use one's time effectively or productively. As a student, Time Management is crucial as it can be very helpful and useful when the student's school life is hectic. It ensures that the student is organized when managing their daily lives as well as finishing academic assignments on time. However, Time Management is not an easy thing, but we can try this together and do our best to follow the schedule!


Five Strategies to Develop A Successful System Of Study.

  1. Use a weekly schedule
  2. Use daily planner
  3. Use semester calendar
  4. Balance academic with social and personal demands
  5. Avoid procrastination


Some Strategies to Avoid Procrastination.

  1. Get organized
  2. Set simple, achievable
  3. Create a timeline/schedule
  4. Set a deadline
  5. Get rid of distractions
  6. Time yourself
  7. Take breaks from time to time
  8. Use incentives
  9. Get the hard stuff done first
  10. Tell someone about your goal

Last but not least, there's also a Prioritized Task List, which is like a to do list, to determine which task I should prioritize and which task has the closest due date. You may see mine below:


To conclude, I believe that when you write down your tasks or academic assignments with a specific due date, it will help you procrastinate a lot less. Through this method, you will easily remember which tasks you should focus on first, and complete your work with less pressure.
