Topic 2: Goal Setting!

 


In this topic, we have learned about the Five Step Approach. Let me tell you a bit more about Goal Setting before getting into the Five Step Approach.


Definition of Goal Setting.

Goal Setting means to actively work towards your desired outcome. It involves thinking, planning, and deciding for the future with specific, attainable targets.


Purpose of Goal Setting.

With effective Goal Setting, you get to measure progress, overcome procrastination and visualize dreams. It helps as motivation to improve your performance and achieve your goals.


Characteristics of Goals.

  • Self chosen
  • Challenging
  • Realistic
  • Measurable
  • Specific
  • Finite
  • Positive

By following the Five Steps Approach as shown above, I have made my own Goal Setting as shown below:





Aside from that, there's also Learning Management System (LMS) which is an application that allows instructors to create documents, track, report, and deliver courses to students. Here in UiTM, we use a website called Ufuture which can be accessed through PC and also mobile phone. Image shown below is my Ufuture:
