Topic 1: Getting Ready To Learn!
Through this topic, I understand that not everyone is the same and that every student has their own way of studying. There are three types of learning styles:
- Visual
Visual learners take in information easily via seeing the learning materials. They understand and remember things through sight. This includes videos, colours, mind maps, graphics, and the like.
- Auditory
Students who are auditory learners prefer to listen to audios and then repeat them verbally. They also like to listen to others talk or explain the learning materials rather than reading what is written.
- Kinesthetic
Kinesthetic learning style requires the student or learner to touch the materials such as hands-on learning projects. So, these type of learners do best when they can participate in various activities. An easy example is when science students do experiments in the lab.
From this task, I have learned that I am a visual learner. You can see it from the inventory below:
